Japanese architect Tadao Ando talks about the analogy of boxing and designing and his first Manhattan project. A combination of galvanized steel, poured-in-place concrete, and glass rises seven stories above the corner of Elizabeth street in Nolita. The residential structure includes a 17-meter x 30-meter vertical garden.
