All Creatures Great and Small

Canadian artist Jennifer Angus creates installations by using thousands, often vibrantly colored bugs and insects. For her site-specific works, she arranges theses insects in intricate patterns and kaleidoscopic mandalas on the walls. Over the years, she has collected more than 30.000 different insects, mostly from Malaysia, Thailand, and Papua New Guinea . She reuses all the insects for her different projects.

These vivid pink images come from her “The Midnight Garden’ installation at the Renwick Gallery in Washington, DC (2015).
